Spyware Watchdog: i cannot lie i do think this site comes off somewhat fear-mongery and the ranking system can be a little sensational which may distract from its relatively reasonable messaging beneath the ratings but i cant deny the influence this had on kickstarting my adventure in rejecting mainstream technology
Dig Deeper: sister site to spyware watchdog that also shares its problem of having some really great and sensible ideas that most wont take seriously because of the bold language, edgy teenager epic haxx0r aesthetic and accompanying articles advocating for anti vax and moon landing conspiracies (which to be clear i do not support) but the tech and privacy related articles are really spot on and there are great guides here
